In plants featuring goods or products that can be managed in an automated way it is possible to realize fully automated handling from the receipt of goods to the i-point, order picking and shipment.
For fully automated order picking we developed two concepts: firstly our INTEGER system picking products and secondly palletizing and depalletizing by way of handling devices and robots.
In the latter case, a sequencing buffer exists at Dräxlmaier for setting up a sequence for order picking. From this buffer, the handling device is provided with totes which form stacks or pallets in a given order (possibly from a RFID). The loading units created this way are then loaded onto the transport vehicle by the stacker lift truck for delivery to the JIT/JIS-customers. The INTEGER-system (see also product description) installed at a kitchen furniture manufacturer and at Jeld-Wen creates order-related product stacks.
