The focus is on switch cabinet construction and control technology for the installation of automated storage and picking systems. The expanded infrastructure makes it possible to shorten production and delivery times and to expand capacities systematically.
Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH, based in Nuremberg, has been operating for over 50 years as a system integrator in the automation of high-bay and small parts warehouses, robotics, and conveyor and order picking systems. From logistics planning and software to the turnkey handover of a logistics system, customers receive everything from a single source. To strengthen the control technology division, Klinkhammer Intralogistics acquired the former Klinkhammer control technology division in 2018.
Whereas previously just under 100 square metres were available for switch cabinet construction, today 1,467 square metres are available in Gogolin, located between Wrocław and Katowice. Thanks to the well-coordinated team, the relocation of the office, warehouse and production facilities was completed in a very short time. ‘The investment underlines the strategic importance of the Polish location,’ emphasises Managing Director Frank Klinkhammer, Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH, Nuremberg. "From our modest beginnings in a double garage to a modern industrial hall, our ambition for further growth is clear. With the new hall, we are ideally equipped to supply our customers in Europe reliably, quickly and efficiently." Another advantage of the new premises is the flexible use of space. Areas that are not currently needed can be sublet, thus contributing to economic efficiency. The expansion marks another milestone in the company's history and opens up new perspectives for the future.
