Nuremberg/Stuttgart – At the LogiMAT 2015, the Klinkhammer Group presented itself as general contractor for overall intralogistics concepts. The Klinkhammer specialists placed one focus on automated material flow concepts as currently realized for HANSMANN Logistik, the company Feiler GmbH or the candy manufacturer Sweet Tec. Another focus of Klinkhammer at this year‘s LogiMAT was the software solution DC21 WMS.

„Also in 2015, automation will remain an important topic at the LogiMAT exhibition – but always embedded into an overall intralogistics concept”, this is the first summary of Frank Klinkhammer about the trade fair participation. “Anyone who wants to be successful in intralogistics today and who wants to offer its customers an optimal solution has to do much more than just putting together components or conveyors. He has to provide extensive consulting and accompany his customers from analysis and planning to software and implementation and finally to lifetime service.” This is what the Klinkhammer Group is offering with its 360° approach. Klinkhammer combines experience, innovative strength and market know-how, planning competence and implementation knowledge with independent expertise for the benefit of its customers.

Automated, integrated and from one single source

The scope of services of the Klinkhammer Group covers all areas necessary for a sustainable, future-oriented solution that is optimally tailored to the customer needs and market requirements. Projects like the dispatch warehouse of Winkler (accessories and spare parts for utility vehicles), the new logistics warehouse for Brütsch-Rüegger (tools), the fully automated logistics solution for Marburg Wallcoverings (wallpapers and wallcoverings) or the automated just-in sequence small parts store  for Hansmann (automotive logistics), the replenishment and buffer store for the Feiler GmbH (chenille weaving plant) or the automated semi-finished products warehouse for Sweet Tec (sweets) underline the comprehensive expertise.

Warehouse-Management-System DC21 by Klinkhammer

Of course, the software is crucial for a consistent material flow solution. Here, Klinkhammer offers with DC21 a software tool especially developed to meet the requirements of modern warehouse management and material flow control. The highlights of DC21 that were also well received by the visitors at the LogiMAT are among other things

  • Designing the goods in processes such that they are strongly geared to the later needs during order picking (cross-docking, distribution of articles, creation of packaging units)
  • High flexibility during warehouse layout configuration especially in the trade sector with very broad or changing product range (modular racking systems are modular in the software as well)
  • Continuity of the DC21 GUI design that allows easy working and high operating comfort (plug and work)
